If your logistics operation is in need of bulk containers for food or industrial applications, Schoeller Allibert has an optimised solution.

The logistical challenge of legacy bulk containers can be significant. Specialised moving and filling equipment could be required; cleaning and maintenance is affected by the aging and deterioration of containers; disposal of large damaged or end-of-life containers can be difficult and expensive. Schoeller Allibert, however, has an elegant solution to these challenges: a very wide range of folding large containers that are dirt-trap free, reusable, recyclable, and occupy minimal space on return transport. Made of plastic, they withstand heavy usage and their strength-to-weight ratios are excellent. This, and the superior services that Schoeller Allibert provides over the entire life cycle of their bulk containers makes for an optimal choice.

And this is not all. Schoeller Allibert’s bulk containers for food also minimise the complexity of moving and filling. To begin with, they have a range of configurable bases than can incorporate wheels, skids, or feet. These bases are both forklift-friendly and compatible with a range of plastic dollies for easy movement around your facility. Secondly, in addition to being foldable when empty, they are stackable when filled, making for excellent space efficiency. Thirdly, materials are chosen for the desired temperature range and finite element analysis is employed to meet stacking height demands. The result is that Schoeller Allibert’s bulk containers for food are unmatched in performance.

Identical technological advantages are implemented in our range of industrial bulk containers. To illustrate the advantages of plastic containers, our Big Box Maximus® weighs only 37kg, yet can hold a volume of 790l, a mass of 500 kg per container, and is stackable to a height of 9 units high, or 4.5 tons. Made of high density polypropylene, it is not only structurally very strong, but is very hygienic, being a UN-approved container. Furthermore in their production, our industrial bulk containers use as much recycled material as possible, minimising CO2 consumption and serving the environment.

The environmental impact of industrial bulk packaging cannot be ignored in one’s operation, and for this reason all our products are recyclable once they reach the end of their lifespan. This not only benefits the environment, it also equips you with a ready solution for the disposal of your industrial material handling containers, which would otherwise be a tricky undertaking when one has a large inventory of containers. Not only is our industrial bulk packaging 100% recyclable, it is also extremely durable due to its compliance with a certified QA system for the USA and EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) group, further reducing environmental impact.

We at Schoeller Allibert believe that returnable plastic packaging systems are the key to truly environmentally sustainable transportation and logistics. So in addition to pursing this goal with our plastic bulk containers and folding plastic crates, we are committed to reducing the environmental impact of our operations even further, and in several ways. We support the United Nations Environment Campaign (www.unep.org), and have additionally committed to planting forests all over the world, currently in association with the Flemish Forests Association and the wider United Nations Environment Program. As such, when you utilise our plastic bulk containers, you facilitate a global effort to make put our industry in harmony with the environment.
