Fill Level – allowing your IBC pool to always be running on full

Fill Level is a new feature of Schoeller Allibert’s SmartLink® system. As the name suggests, it keeps you informed of the fill level of your intermediate bulk containers (IBCs). It’s quite a revolutionary improvement.

Is the glass half full or half empty? That depends: are you an optimist or a pessimist? In logistics, it’s better to be a realist instead. And to know exactly how full (or empty) your IBCs are. The standard procedure: check each one manually, at the expense of a lot of time and manpower.

Via SmartLink®, Fill Level can even be used to set an alarm if and when your assets fall below a certain fill threshold. If, say, your container is at a quarter capacity, you could let the system alert you to fill the respective IBCs up to full again – maximizing usage, productivity, and ultimately: profit.
