CDP
Schoeller Allibert carried out the CDP assessment for the first time in 2024. This assessment helps us evaluate our environmental performance, identify areas for development, and strengthen our approach to key topics such as climate change, water management, and plastics.


United Nations Global Compact

Roundtable for Reusable Containers Trays and Pallets (RCTP)
Schoeller Allibert is a founding member of the RCTP. The RCTP´s mission is to promote the use of reusable and returnable plastic packaging by advocating for a fair regulatory framework for secondary packaging, resulting in an overall reduction of plastic waste.


Circular Transition Indicators (CTI)
Schoeller Allibert uses the CTI framework, from the World Business Council on Sustainable Development (WBCSD), to calculate material circularity.
Stiftung Initiative Mehrweg
Schoeller Allibert is an active member of the Stiftung Initiative Mehrweg which aims to provide support for the conservation of natural resources and the protection of the environment by increasing the amount of reusable packaging in all sectors.

Waste Free Oceans (WFO)
Schoeller Allibert is a proud member of Waste Free Oceans (WFO) and is actively supporting the organization’s mission to reduce, reuse and recycle marine litter, mitigating the impact on both the environment and natural resources.
South Pole Group
Schoeller Allibert has been working with the South Pole Group to assess our 2020 corporate carbon footprint and to develop our emission reduction strategy and targets.


Science Based Targets initiative
The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is a corporate climate action organization that enables companies and financial institutions worldwide to play their part in combating the climate crisis. Our near-term target to reduce company-wide emissions have been validated and approved by SBTi. This means that our greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction targets validated and our Our company’s scope 1 and 2 target ambition for 2033 is in line with the 1.5°C trajectory. As the very first producer of returnable transport packaging.
Tree-Nation
Tree-Nation is a platform, which was created to reforest the world and fight climate change. The mission of Tree-Nation states that it wants to plant 1 trillion trees by 2050. Planting trees has been proven to be one of the most efficient solutions to fight Climate Change. Schoeller Allibert will support this project and will plant Schoeller Allibert Forest worldwide.
