Schoeller Allibert Proudly Supports Belgian Innoptus Solar Team's World Championship Pursuit
Exciting News! After enduring a four-year hiatus due to unforeseen challenges, the Belgian Innoptus Solar Team is gearing up to shine once again in the prestigious World Solar Challenge in Australia! As many of you may recall, this exceptional team achieved unparalleled success in 2019, claiming the championship title. Now, with unwavering determination, they are set to defend their world title and continue their legacy of excellence.
This year's World Solar Challenge promises to be an exhilarating showdown, with top university teams from across the globe vying for the ultimate victory. However, confidence reigns supreme in the hearts of our team as they are more than prepared to give their all in this ninth edition of the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge.
Embarking on a thrilling journey at the end of October, the challenge will cover an impressive distance of 3021 kilometers. The Belgian Innoptus Solar Team's main source of energy throughout the race will be solely solar-powered charging, a testament to their unwavering commitment to sustainable practices. As they traverse the treacherous terrain of the Australian Outback, they will navigate the challenges of strong winds and arid conditions, demonstrating their prowess and innovation in harnessing renewable energy.
The race commences in Darwin, and the ultimate prize awaits the team that crosses the finish line first in Adelaide. Along the way, the team will seek shelter for overnight stays along the roadside, adding an extra layer of adventure to their remarkable journey.
